Portland Rescue Mission
Since 1959, Portland Rescue Mission has had a tireless commitment to breaking the cycle of homelessness, addiction and despair in the lives of hurting people in need. Today, they offer emergency services of food and shelter at their original downtown location at the Burnside Shelter and they’ve expanded those services to include 24/7 restrooms, showers, clothing, mail service, referrals and community activities in their Guest Care Center. As an employer we support each other by partaking in their three month Connect program, where Portland Rescue Mission helps men and women transition to independent housing and employment.
