Coconut Cardamom Banana Bread


There are so many delicious treats you can make with our nut butters! From banana bread to nut butter cookies, we've got a recipe for everyone!

Coconut Cardamom Banana Bread

  • 1 1/4 cup sugar, divided

  • 1/2 cup butter (room temp)

  • 4 bananas

  • 2 eggs

  • 1.5 cups pastry flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp cardamom

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

  • 3/4 cup Coconut Cardamom Nut Butter

  • 1/2 cup oats


  1. Preheat oven to 350.

  2. Cream 1 cup sugar + butter in a large mixing bowl.

  3. Beat eggs. Mash bananas. Combine.

  4. Add eggs, banana + vanilla to the creamed sugar + butter.

  5. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, cardamom + cinnamon.

  6. Add dry ingredients to the wet. Pour half of the batter in a greased loaf pan.

  7. In a separate bowl, combine oats, nut butter and remaining 1/4 cup sugar. Use your hands to work the mixture into a pasty crumble. Pour half of the streusel crumble into the loaf pan.

  8. Top with remaining batter, then swirl with a knife to spread throughout the bread. Top with remaining streusel. (Optional: Cover with aluminum foil so the top doesn't get too crispy.)

  9. Bake at 350 for 60-75 minutes. It's done when the top is firm and golden brown, and a good toothpick test shows no runniness inside!
