Meet Molly, our new Production Manager!

What has your experience with Ground Up been like? 

I don't think I have ever been so immediately welcomed as a newcomer to a new job!  The Ground Up family has been so warm and accepting of me since jumping onboard.  The work atmosphere is supportive, encouraging, fun, and joy filled. I really couldn't have asked for better teammates to work alongside with!  

What is your role at Ground Up?

I am excited to share that I will be working with the buff ladies in the kitchen as the Production Manager!

What does a typical workday look like for you?

A typical workday for me looks like, lending a helpful hand to the kitchen team during production, whether that is prepping their supplies or jumping in to give someone a break from pouring nut butter into our filling machine. We have a great team of hardworking women; I am there to help production go smoothly, and to act as DJ to keep things bumpin'! 

What is it like to work with the team?

It is FUN to come to work! I see authentic and smiling faces that care about the quality of the job but who also will take the time to jump into the center of the sporadic dance party music that is turned up on max volume. I am so excited to grow alongside the Ground Up family!

What is the community at Ground Up like? 

We celebrate each other and we care about the wellbeing of one another! When people feel supported in the right way, they are able to work hard and well, which is what I think Ground Up has accomplished!  

What do you like to do for fun?

Like any proper Oregonian, I love anything active in the outdoors- hiking, biking, snowboarding, rafting- but like a Californian at heart, I want to do those things in the sunshine!

A snippet from my happy place would be: a dank charcuterie board, some mediocre wine, listening to Bossa Nova with anyone willing to hang. 

What is your favorite Ground Up nut butter flavor + favorite way to enjoy it?

Well, Coconut Cardamom Chia Seed was my first love. I'll put it on a piece of toast for a late night snicky-snack, or with oatmeal and berries, and of course with any of Ground Up's recipe blog suggestions that I am starting to work my way through! With that said,  I await each Seasonal Flavor with a giddy anticipation. In my short time so far, Nutty Banana Bread has proven to be the flavor that spoonfuls from the jar just find their way into my belly!
