Meet our Sales Representative, Sam! Her main goal is to spread more awareness about Ground Up and get our nut butters in as many stores as possible. We're grateful for her passion to spread the nut butter love and get it into all of your hands!

What has your experience with Ground Up been like?

I have loved my time at Ground Up so far! I was seeking out a place where I felt like I could really see myself growing and staying for awhile and Ground Up is it. Being around a group of hard working, positive, and supportive women is empowering and motivating to me.

What is your role at Ground Up?

I'm the Sales Rep at Ground Up. My goal is to grow our wholesale business - I'm passionate about building relationships with our partners and getting Ground Up into as many hands as possible!

What does a typical workday look like for you?

A typical workday for me usually involves a couple of meetings, following up with current accounts, reaching out to new accounts and planning all of our promotions and communications with wholesale accounts. There are always new projects and opportunities that come up so no day is the same! 

What is the community at Ground Up like? 

Our community really does feel like a family. Everyone within our walls is kind, welcoming, and warm! The womxn in our training program are absolute rockstars and are an inspiration to me everyday. The culture is one of acceptance and we are always celebrating one another!

What do you like to do for fun?

I love hanging out with my labradoodle, Max. I'm happiest in the sunshine. I also love being outdoors (swimming, hiking, biking), cooking, trying new restaurants (especially when Thai food is involved!), exercising, and traveling!

What is your favorite Ground Up nut butter flavor + favorite way to enjoy it?

Currently I can't get enough of our seasonal Tahini Cookie Flavor (hopeful we bring this back!) and Toasted Macadamia Nut is my other go-to. I like to eat it straight from the jar, with an apple, or on toast.
