Black Lives Matter
As a business that is in some small way trying to fight the underlying systems of racial oppression and income inequality, we have been deeply saddened and outraged by recent events. We intend to show up for our Black community, now and going forward.
For the month of June, we donated 10% of our Matcha Latte sales to Equitable Giving Circle, a Portland-based org that is feeding BIPOC families with food from BIPOC farmers.
From June 1 to June 7, we donated 15% of all sales to Essie Justice Group, a nonprofit organization of women with incarcerated loved ones taking on the rampant injustices created by mass incarceration.
