Sales & Marketing Coordinator

The Sales & Marketing Coordinator position will work closely with Ground Up’s co-founder to support and execute on sales & marketing initiatives, in addition to working with the operations and marketing team.  This position is responsible for supporting a variety of sales needs for growing our business—with a focus on our wholesale grocery channel, but supporting our events, foodservice and boutique channels as well.  Responsibilities will include account management, new lead generation, event & demo management, creating marketing materials and representing Ground Up at demos and events.

We are seeking an organized individual who thrives on checking things off a list and doesn’t get annoyed by constant follow-up. This individual enjoys independent problem solving, can manage multiple project deadlines at one time without reminders and gets joy from checking off administrative tasks - including paperwork and sending emails. In addition, they are energized by connecting with customers at events and demos in the community - and are not afraid to make cold calls and receive a “no.”

This job involves new challenges and opportunities on a daily & weekly basis - we are looking for someone who is ready to dive in and is flexible and ready to shift gears when needed.  No day looks the same in this coordinator role, flexing with the priorities and needs of our business. We will invest in training on all the tools needed to do the job, but expect someone to come in with organization skills and an ability to problem solve and manage multiple deadlines at once.
