Chocolate Hazelnut Easter Eggs
Just in time for Easter, these family-favorite Chocolate Hazelnut Easter Eggs are sure to be a crowd pleaser, that is — if they aren't all gone in one sitting!
Ingredients:
- ½ cup Ground Up Oregon Hazelnut Butter
- 2 tablespoons coconut flour
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- Sea salt (optional)
Directions:
- In a bowl, mix together the Oregon Hazelnut Butter, coconut flour, and maple syrup until it becomes a thick dough.
- Scoop one tablespoon of dough, then using your hands, form into egg shapes.
- Place eggs on a parchment lined baking sheet, then freeze for 30 minutes.
- In a small bowl, melt chocolate chips and coconut oil until smooth.
- Remove dough from freezer and dip each egg into melted dark chocolate, using a spoon and fork to turn eggs and cover completely.
- Sprinkle eggs with sea salt, if you’d like, then freeze for another 30 minutes until completely set.
- Store truffles in the fridge or freezer until you are ready to enjoy them!
