Ingredients: 

  • 2 1/2 cups of unsweetened oat milk 
  • 1/4 cup dairy-free dark chocolate chips 
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 2 tbsp Cocoa Hazelnut Crunch nut butter
  • 1 tbsp date syrup 
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of sea salt
  • Coconut whipped cream (or other dairy-free alternative)
  • Optional: Vegan-friendly marshmallows, for topping

 

Directions:

  1. In a small saucepan, start bringing the oat milk to a boil.
  2. While the oat milk is warming up, combine the chocolate chips, cacao powder, nut butter, date syrup, vanilla, and sea salt in a high speed blender or food processor. Set aside.
  3. Once the oat milk is hot, transfer it into the same blender with all of the other ingredients. Secure the lid and blend until smooth. 
  4. Divide the hot chocolate into two mugs and top with coconut whipped cream, marshmallows, and more nut butter! Enjoy!
