Meet Aydia, our Assistant Operations Manager! She oversees many parts of the Ground Up operation and does so with ease. She also enjoys cooking + experimenting with recipes, so we're excited for her to help out with our seasonal flavor development!
What has your experience with Ground Up been like?
While only being here a short time, my experience at Ground Up has been very empowering. Working within a female owned and operated company is something I really value being a part of, and everyone has been so kind and welcoming.
What is your role at Ground Up?
My main goal is to support the Operations Manager and Production team through consistent communication and collaboration, as well as oversee many other tasks including shipping/receiving, production flow, inventory/ordering, and warehouse tasks.
What is the community at Ground Up like?
Our community really does feel like a family. Everyone works so hard and is essential to the success and workflow of the company. Everyone from the management team to the training program all hustle so hard and inspire me to show up as my best self every day. I love that we often do affirmations in the morning too, it really is such a fantastic environment to be a part of.
What do you like to do for fun?
I love anything to do with being active, I really enjoy lifting weights and running and hope to pursue a degree in fitness/nutrition in the future. Outside of that I love to try out new vegan/ gluten free recipes or go to music festivals with my friends!
What is your favorite Ground Up nut butter flavor + favorite way to enjoy it?
My all time favorite (thus far) is the seasonal Salted Eggnog. I love to have it on a rice cake with banana slices and honey, or just by the spoonful!
