Summer Marketing Intern
We're looking for a motivated marketing student to join the Ground Up team this summer!
Drive awareness for Ground Up through events, influencer / brand partnerships, social media and other marketing tactics. Your primary focus will be on expanding our presence locally, in Portland and the Pacific Northwest!
Connect with brands, influencers, bloggers, etc. locally who you think would be a good brand fit. Create one on one relationships with key influencers. Coordinate giveaways / events / collabs to drive awareness.
Branded photo shoots including our product
Helping to coordinate any events that come up
Create engaging content to expand our social media presence
Also work on blog posts, recipes, photography, and more
Ad hoc tasks:
Opportunities to get involved with other areas of the business that interest you, such as sales or production
Flexible, with opportunity to often work remotely, but we'll set aside one morning or afternoon a week for a check-in
Unpaid, but with all the nut butter you could want!
Dates: Early June to Mid-August (Flexible)

We are looking for someone to jump in and help us with nut butter production! We’re looking for a supreme multi-tasker who is looking for the opportunity to get experience at a fast-growing social enterprise...and someone who enjoys working in the kitchen. Must be available on Wednesdays. We currently produce only one day per week.
Your responsibilities would include:
Manage all aspects of the kitchen from mixing the nut butters to roasting coconut to filling jars
Oversee kitchen team on production days to ensure goals are met
Learn to operate kitchen machinery including mixing machine and filling machine
Maintain organization and efficiency of team / process during busy production days
Sourcing and inventory management of raw materials
Prior kitchen experience nice to have, but not a must. Must be able to lift 30+ lbs and be on your feet for 8 hour days.
Hours: 20-40 hrs / week (this role is technically part-time, but with the opportunity for more hours depending on the candidate’s interest and skillset)
Start Date: Late June or early July
