Baklava Overnight Oats
Bring some *spice* to your mornings with these hassle-free Baklava Overnight Oats. Boring breakfasts? Never heard of ‘em. Not only are these oats full of flavor, they’re also set on making sure you start your day off right with a balance of protein and healthy fats!
Ingredients
For the overnight oats:
- ½ cup rolled oats
- ½ tbsp chia seeds
- ½ tbsp ground flaxseeds
- ½ tsp hemp seeds
- 1 scoop vegan protein powder (optional)
- 1 cup plant-based milk
- 1-2 tbsp Walnut + Pistachio Baklava nut butter
For topping:
- Crushed walnuts + pistachios
- Walnut + Pistachio Baklava nut butter
- Fresh fruit
- Honey
- Shredded coconut
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, chia seeds, flax seeds, hemp seeds, and protein powder until just combined. Add the remainder of the ingredients, mixing until well-combined.
- Transfer the mixture to an airtight container and leave in the refrigerator overnight or for at least 4-6 hours.
- Remove from the refrigerator and top with some crushed walnuts and pistachios, a generous drizzle of Baklava nut butter, honey, fresh fruit, and coconut shreds. Enjoy!
