Whether you're making these for a fall gathering, gifting to a friend, or keeping a stash in your fridge for those mid-day cravings, these truffles are the perfect way to celebrate the season (and one of our most cozy collabs yet!).
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups of pitted dates, softened
- ⅔ cup oat flour
- 1 tsp masala chai spice
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 1 tbsp Chai Spice nut butter
- Pinch of salt
- ⅔ - 1 cup dairy-free chocolate chips, melted
- Optional: flaky salt for topping
Directions:
- Add all of the ingredients to a high speed blender or food processor, blending until a sticky dough forms.
- Spoon out 1-2 Tbsp of the dough and shape into a ball. Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and repeat with the remaining dough.
- Place the tray with the truffles in the freezer to chill while melting the chocolate.
- For the chocolate, place the chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl and heat in 30 second increments, stirring in between, until the chocolate has melted.
- Remove the truffles from the freezer and coat each ball in chocolate. Place back on the baking tray and repeat with the remaining truffles.
- Sprinkle each truffle with some extra salt and place in the fridge/freezer to allow the chocolate to set.
- Remove when ready to serve and enjoy!
